The past March 19, 2025, SOLFRUT received the visit of a delegation composed by 70 students and 2 teachers career Agronomy of the Universidad Austral de Chilewho are in their traditional tour last year.
During the day, the students toured orchards in force and in the production process of the species kiwi, plum and nurseryin an instance that allowed them to meet in the field the annual cycle of these species, the work done, applications, harvest, and other technical aspects relevant to your professional training.
The activity aimed to to provide a practical experience enriching, where students could to directly observe the work in the crops and resolve your technical questionsaccompanied by Alejandro Salas, agricultural manager SOLFRUT, who led the day with detailed explanations and close by.
At the end of the visit, both students and teachers expressed their gratitude for the opportunity given.
“We are grateful to the company and to Alejandro for hosting us every year in this final process of the students. Each year we receive we decided to visit this field, because it allows the students to experience the practice directly with plants and fruits, and from there to pose and solve their doubts,” noted one of the teachers in charge of the delegation.
With this type of initiatives, SOLFRUT reaffirms its commitment to the training of future professionals of the agricultural sector and strengthening the links between academia and the productive world.
